About the Role

We are looking for a key individual who can contribute their project management skills to support various learning projects.  SweetRush is a project management–focused company and that focus has been the key to our success and winning clients for life.

This role will focus on supporting the successful creation and delivery of training solutions that support our client's business objectives and ongoing operations.  The use of generative AI tools will be incorporated into the project management processes.  The training solutions we provide are often blended, with most comprising eLearning modules. Therefore, you must bring a real passion for online training and interactive technologies.  If you have experience with web-based training, that is a plus.

The Associate Project Manager works closely with the Learning Experience Designer (LXD) and our clients. This role is essential for helping manage the day-to-day details of a project while learning the “big picture” from the LXD and the client. You will assist in identifying, anticipating, and managing risks to ensure a smooth, efficient, on-time, and on-budget project experience.

Rate: $35-40/hour. 1099 for the first 3 months, then convert to a W2 hourly afterwards.

Responsibilities

The Associate Project Manager will:

• Support the LXD as a point of contact for the project team and client.
• Assist the LXD in setting and managing client expectations.
• Aid in project status reporting, including risk management, budget tracking, issue tracking, and resolution.
• Contribute to designing and maintaining detailed project plans, including establishing realistic schedules and tracking key milestones and dependencies.
• Assist the LXD in prioritizing tasks and ensuring effective handoff to other resources.
• Ensure the quality of project deliverables under the supervision of the LXD.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate has the following skills, experience, and personality traits:

• 1-2 years of professional experience in a client-facing Project Coordination, Project Support, or similar role.
• Exposure to or demonstrated interest in the Learning & Development field, corporate training, EdTech platforms, or certification training programs.
• Exposure to or a basic understanding of creating and tracking budgets.
• Experience or comfort working with remote team members.
• Preference for deadline-driven work that requires switch-tasking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for a client-facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest and basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as Google Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.
• Detail-oriented, with an orientation toward quality assurance.
• Fluency with the Google Suite.
• Respectful, positive, approachable attitude, and a positive outlook on life (a “glass half full” type of person).
• A true interest and passion for advancing technology, Learning & Development, helping clients succeed, as well as colleagues.
